National Alpha Eta Bylaws revised in 1998, declare that:

1.1 The organization shall be called the Alpha Eta Society.

1.2 The motto of the Society shall be "Together We Serve."

1.3 The colors of the Society shall be light green and white.

1.4 The purpose of the Society shall be the promotion and recognition of significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions.
